About me:

It’s an honor to be here and to have the opportunity to connect with you. I believe that everyone has his own unique fingerprint on this world, and I am here to help you uncover yours. Each individual has the right to expand their freedom, decide who to be, what to do, and how to live. Life is no dress rehearsal.

I have been through hardship and learned that I have a spirit that cannot be broken. Now I want to offer you that chance, because it’s possible, and we all deserve to live a grand juicy life. I coach clients to reach their peak performance by moving them from just getting by–to flying high. Whether it’s finding and flourishing in that romantic relationship or starting that business you may have dreamed of – I can help you connect the dots to getting there.

Life is all made up, so we may as well write our own stories. I invite you to join with me and form a powerful team. Together, we will design the vision for your life’s goals and purpose, and hold that vision for you to step into and own. The truth is, you may as well be yourself, because everyone else is taken! We often let self-limiting thoughts get in our way of this powerful creation called “our life”.

My passion is catalyzing change. Change is hard and any small change requires substantial effort. Making major transformation demands a change agent. Successful athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, people going through divorce have coaches. The ones who do are the ones who thrive.

I have been catalyzing change in others since preschool. I am committed to serving you–to closing the gap from where you are to where you want to be. If you don’t know where that is — I’m here to help you uncover it. I can help you identify your strengths and talents; gifts which you may not realize you possess. Your self-esteem, confidence, and well-being are my mission. To find a complete summary of my work, please refer to my new book - - Counseling and Personal Development: The Health Professional as Facilitator. The book is in contract with Cengage Learning and due to print in the fall of 2015.

In my passion to catalyze change, I have spent a good deal of my life as a professional speech-language pathologist. I am a tenured and award-winning professor, on the graduate level, and train my graduate students in the art and science of speech assessment, therapy, and counseling. In addition, I have published a book on diagnostic assessment in the profession (A Guide to Clinical Assessment and Professional Report Writing in Speech-Language Pathology). My ideal client are teens or adults who stutter, clutter (speak unclearly at a rapid speed), mispronounce specific sounds (such as a lisp), have hoarse voices and difficulty with loudness, and struggle with a foreign accent. Ever since I was a child, it was my dream to help people communicate easier. My work, which may be a blend of speech therapy and coaching, has made my dream a reality. This is your NOW, and the time that I may help you develop your own unique voice and express your thoughts and ideas with confidence.
